     RANGE. Southern Nevada and adjacent southeastern California.

     DESERT RECORDS. Imperial Co.: 2.9 mi N Glamis, 335', 5 May 1978 (RRS & CDG, #78-22; LACM). Riverside Co.: Red Cloud Cyn. Rd., Chuckwalla Mts., 33.60°N 115.78°W, 16 Apr. 1994 (G. C. Snelling; GCSCC, LACM, PSWC).

     DISCUSSION. The sample from near Glamis consists of a single dead worker recovered from a forager of Forelius mccookii in a sandy Wash Woodland. A small series of workers was collected in Red Cloud Cyn., a rocky area of intermingled Cactus Scrub, Wash Woodland and Creosote scrub; the sample was collected under a large boulder.
     This species was previously known only from the type locality in Nye County, Nevada.
In our original report we had recorded sample #78-22 as N. californicus.
