The
figures which accompany this text are intended to supplement the
keys and taxonomic discussions to illustrate features used in distinguishing
between the various genera and species. Usually, simple line drawings
are sufficient and details of sculpturing and vestiture are omitted.
When such details are critical in identification they may be illustrated
as supplemental figures (as in Fig. 38a).
A few habitus figures were done by
Ruth Ann DeNicola and we are grateful for the opportunity to use
them. The remaining figures are the work of the senior author.
